A travel blog entry by jumpetr3506 on Aug 07, 2015

It's morning, no story yet but having lunch with my daughter Sonya at La Gloria, no , that's not heaven, nor is it that sleepy little town down in South Texas by the border. It's a Mexican food restaurant at the old Pearl Brewery grounds. Is it any good or just ok, tell ya later,at least my thoughts. Oh, in San Antonio,Texas ( home of the Alamo. Got to La Gloria a bit early and sat in the shade by the SA river taking in the place. Parking was a bit tight but it's Friday ...

6th-7th August Not a great deal to talk about after yesterday as it was a driving day, we drove from New Mexico into Texas, and drove down to San Antonio, a fairly uneventful drive. Don't tell the cowboy union that we skipped a chance to eat another steak in Texas, they'd revoke our cowboy ...

... received a resounding and standing ovation when the ALR Vets eventually realised what was around their necks. Dave and LJ pinged the CMH immediately and exchanged knowing glances. I also knew, but didn't let on. The food served was of the highest calibre. An excellent Bratwurst and slow-cooked Brisket (Dave and LJ only had half portions of the perfectly cooked brisket as i kept running across the table taking bits of both their plates. The ...

... it back into the "comfy" range however.

I drained our tanks and replaced the blackwater blade valve with no problem. It had been a bit reluctant to open, but now is smooth as silk, if such can be said about a wastewater valve.

We'll be moving west in a short while to Lost Trees State Natural Area. I'll be checking in from there if the connection is decent.

As always, thanks for checking in, you loyalists...
