We had a room with 1 king bed and a pull out couch. I got the couch and it was comfy.

... In the mean-time we sorted out local telephone sims, purchased maps, checked out the tourist office etc.
We had arranged for the shipping agent to liase with the port and contact us as necessary. This she did very efficiently and called me on Monday, 12/5, to say we could collect Champ on the next day - I have nothing but praise for this lady. The local bus service got us to Tacoma port and again the officers there were very helpful indeed.

... he doesn't hear conversations around him. He says that is not the case but I feel sure it is but it is not worth getting upset about it as it is what it is....we have these issues occasionally and I can't seem to see why except for that reason. Next day we drove to a beautiful region in the alpine region, taking th road to Monroe, then Leavenworth which is a Bavarian village not unlike Hahndorf in Australia. The sun was out, but it was so nice to wander around the little town looking in different shops windows etc. There was a river down beyond the town, which we took a walk down to.
We took a different road back this time, which made it more interesting.
