      We had a room with 1 king bed and a pull out couch. I got the couch and it was comfy.

      ... and from the roof terrace looking towards the factory, and from the freeway while getting there. The factory interestingly is built in an Amish area and our factory tour commentator was himself Amish as we're some of those on the tour - took some sneaky pictures on the roof terrace before the tour. The future of flight centre had large engines and planes and tails and other interesting things to look at, as well as the gift store, before our tour got underway ...

      And we're off!

      ... joking. We did not find this funny, as we were both frantically googling if we need one and how to get a visa. At least he was cute and had a nice smile.

      Freak-out #2- We are sitting at opposite ends of the plane. Why would you separate us?! Luckily, when we talked to the woman behind the counter at the gate, she was able to get us a center aisle all to ourselves. 14 hours of being sprawled out and sleeping was very nice.

      ... visit another friend we'd made on the ship. She has a superb view of Mt Barker over the water.

      Bellevue with Microsoft was the next days personal tour of the area that organisation has. It's like a city within a city.What would Seattle be without this industry?

      So today we left Seattle and drove in the rain past Tacoma WA to a tiny place out on the Pacific Coast to stay a couple of nights with a host family.

      ... there we will have an hour layover, then proceed to Bangkok arriving around 10:30pm.

      We will try our best to post as we travel, but not promises....I have NO idea what to expect :) But this should count as my first and successful attempt! Whoop!

      ... quality time with family before leaving, but I still think I'll find it a bit difficult when Christmas actually comes around. The countdown has begun!

      Brussels - Amsterdam - Seattle

      It's always a plunge into the deep end when you set out to travel for the next 6 months. But this time i feel like it's an ever bigger plunge: more elements I'm completely unfamiliar with. It's all relative though... 2 years ...
