The girl, however, refused to accept his denial. She disguised herself as a boy and applied to the captain of Chavet's ship when it was being outfitted for the trip for a place as a cabin boy, calling herself Jean.

The girl must have been incredibly clever in disguise, for it is ...
Morrilton, Arkansas, United States jodieandandy... last ride thru because my motel is 5 mi south of I-40. The motel seems to have little on the city itself so I will peruse my guide book and see what else is noteworthy besides the Clinton Library. I got all excited that there was a barbecue place beside the motel, until I realized it was abandoned.

Cabot, Arkansas, United States curtisallen1956... thinking about it. But that's not true at all. From the instant I decided I was going to go on this journey more than a year ago, I've know it would happen. The only difference now is that I know a few more details. There are still a ton of things to do in the two months before I fly away (actually, less than two: I'll be in Chicago with my family for about a week before I leave): I need to get a visa for Thailand, I need more ...

I know that it is easy to be overwhelmed by other cultures and not want to interact as much for fear of messing up, but please pray that I will work through that and be able to work with the people there. Thank you all again and please keep in touch! You can leave messages on here and I will get them. God bless
Searcy, Arkansas, United States mgibb05... Don't leave home without them. While traveling on the road, especially in the rural sections, the food choices are horrible. Greasy hamburgers and french fries are the standard fare. We agreed that such a trip would not have been bearable if we (Marshall) had not cooked along the way.
