Home of the 1960s dance craze, the Shag. Well, the shag never left N Myrtle beach and you can take dance lessons here but not today. I do remember the Shag though from my youth. It is very much Gold Coast here, maybe Southport and then we travelled down the coast to Myrtle Beach which is more ...

He sat with us and we learned he is a trucker who was taking his daughter to FL to college. Then there was an older lady there who also was headed to FL...never found out why...but she was from west of Cleveland! So, breakfast was an official Buckeye meeting! ;-) Off to our next ...

... SC, and stayed another night because the campground is so peaceful and quiet. Woke to birds singling and sunshine. It's to be 80 degrees today. I have a campsite on the lake.

While at Santee, I asked one of the campers if I could borrow his ladder to lubricate the mechanism that lowers/raises the TV antenna. He brought the ladder over, climbed onto the roof and lubricated the mechanism. Come to learn that ...
