I found this hotel to be super comfortable, clean, and it had nice amenities. The breakfast was the same as most complementary hotel breakfasts, but it was very fresh. The fitness center had plenty of space and equipment, including free weights, a weight bench and a mat. There are plenty of restaurants near by too. The staff was friendly and helpful.

... Final stop for the day was Santa Monica Beach....it was really cool to walk around and we saw the 'end of route 66' sign. We also saw people playing beach volleyball, people swinging around on gymnastic rings like they were practicing for ninja warrior and also people practicing on slack lines so it was really fun people watching and just so much going on.

It took a long time to get back as the traffic was so bad....after ...

This morning we said goodbye to Kris and Nikki and headed to Cabrillo Beach as recommended by Kris. There is a little aquarium that you just give donations to go see so we thought it sounded like a cool place. Once we parked up we found a nearby Diner called 'Pacific Diner'. The food was so good and we both had different types of omelettes.

The aquarium was fun and we got to touch some ...

Hit LaLa at 7:10 am after leaving Austin at 5:38 - yes, I got up at 3:30. Since we couldn't check into our house until 3 pm, we decided to hit the hot spots - Walk of Fame, Hollywood Sign, Beverly Hills, Rodeo, a few famous houses, you know - see my peeps. Of course, no vacay is complete without getting our groceries at COSTCO so after a quick stop, we got settled in and took a walk around ...

Weather was back to Monterey fog yesterday, and a little chilly. It was almost gloomy when we arrived to play golf at 8am. Black Horse was great although the greens were brutal. On one par three we all hit the green and then three of us four-putted! Despite too many putts I played below handicap, helped by three birdies - the most in one round in ages. And good enough to win the most "skins". We cut short our ...
