I found this hotel to be super comfortable, clean, and it had nice amenities. The breakfast was the same as most complementary hotel breakfasts, but it was very fresh. The fitness center had plenty of space and equipment, including free weights, a weight bench and a mat. There are plenty of restaurants near by too. The staff was friendly and helpful.

... weeks was spent on a ship without rehearsal) But hey it feels great knowing that we have learned it all and can now focus on cleaning it all up, performing it, and worrying about costume changes!
Thinking through the past weeks, I have realized things that I would do differently next time and things that I think I did pretty well. Next time I will download all the music from each show right away and get familiar with it as soon as possible. I will start ...

... only a quick 1hr flight. Got our bags and headed to the spot to wait for our car rental shuttle :) We picked up our car for the next 5 days (a Jeep Grand Cherokee...amazing) and headed to find a walmart! We found one but seriously we stood out like a sore thumb! Got all our stuff and finally got on the road to our motel in Santa Clarita. The drive was ...

... and Sundays off. I have been enjoying all the shows and material we are learning. I am learning a lot of cool partner work and different styles of movement. Natalie is my roommate and we get along great! I really could not ask for anything more from her and we just naturally clicked in a lot of ways so that has been really nice to have. And I got my first official paycheck for dancing professionally! WOOOO! It was only two week's worth but that was ...

... for most of the pieces, all of the partnering and lifts, and imagining these costume changes.
The biggest update is Natalie has finally arrived! So now I have an English roomie and we get along so well already- we both love cheese, running, lemon water, and have long legs, haha! She'e really great and I'm so happy she is here but poor girl is jet-lagged and is trying to catch up with the other shows on top of ...

... along the river, with much of it still being rebuilt slowly. Great jazz band on board too, and Rose and I left Jeff on the outer deck for a little while to listen to the band inside, just near the huge paddle turning. They even let you go down to see the steam engine in action if you want. We really enjoyed taking a Muel driven carriage ride through the French Quarter to take in some of the local history and a few tales, including the recording studio for Fats Domino (Blueberry Hill). ...
