... after noon so we took a break and had a snack.  We had gone through about half of the zoo, and we were on pace to finish all the exhibits by dinner.  After our snack, we took a close look at the map, figured out the couple of exhibits we missed, and headed over to the pandas.      The pandas are still the most popular animals in the zoo, and the only place where there is an actual line to see them.  It took about 30 minutes from the panda entrance ...

Afterwards we walked over to the Cheesecake Factory for a very late lunch. Everyone knows of this restaurant from the Big Bang Theory where Penny is a waitress. Our waitress though wasn’t Penny. Her name was Dawn and she turned out to be a very interesting person and a terrific waitress. The food was excellent – well prepared and presented – very tasty and more than enough to fill you up. Prices are moderate – not cheap – not ...

... and provisioned for the trip.

We went to Max's Mom's spare apt to separate out the provisions into three packs, napped and went over our route and plans. Woke in time to head to the airport to pick up Alex, I got to see Max and Meg again and meet little Anderson before we took off for SeaTac.

Picked up Alex on time and headed out to Taco Bell and the Econolodge of Buckley, WA!
