We sunscreen up as we aren’t sure how strong the sun is here, lay back and take in the sun and the beach. It was really nice to be back on a beach relaxing as we hadn’t done that since Brazil. As we lay there we notice a girl trying to give her friends a surf lesson on the sand. She was teaching them how to paddle and what angle to put your elbows and shoulders. It made us laugh but also respect where we come from because it’s pretty easy for us to know ...

... the Star Wars themed mini world. He took a LOT of photos in that section. Our favourite rides were the Pirate Reef and Bionic Blaster. We waited nearly two hours for the sky cruisers, they were good but not fabulous! I loved seeing the miniature San Francisco, can't wait to compare those buildings to the Legoland version. Here is a run down of the rides and attractions we went on: Sky cruisers... These are cars that you can pedal along a rail elevated ...

... we have had so far for $10... WE pack tonight and confirm transfers for shuttles and flights tomorrow and try to get everything in the suitcases without excess baggage as United airlines is a strict 20lb a case. Qantas is much more generous. Another end to a full on day almost have no time to sleep so survive on about 5-6 hours each night. How everyone is good and HAPPY BIRTHDAY JULIE. PS YOUR CARD IS IN THE MAIL AMERICAN POST. XXX

... San Diego to meet up again with Kayla and Jane to head to dinner down at the Seaport Village. We ate at the Mexican restaurant here recommended to me in LA, Puesto, where we all enjoyed some tacos and nachos! Well we are SO close to Mexico... it would just be rude not to. The harbour area of San Diego is really nice with lots of cute shops and big boats... which one am I buying again? Oh yes, the big open-top white one... how could I forget? We ...

Viva Las Vegas and the deal.

After driving over the Hoover Dam, we arrived early at our accommodation 'Sin City Hostel' and started cooking, washing and relaxing (dinking beer). We had a nice meal (spaghetti), a shower (after a few days of not washing at all) and after a few more beers, we were ready to hit the town.

Vegas is an amazing place, completely different to any other city we have ever seen. An icredible combination of weird ...
