Park City, the summit city in Utah, hosted major ski and snowboarding events in the 2002 Winter Olympics. The City also is host to the U.S.' largest independent film festival, Sundance. We were fortunate to see athletes playing in the "snow" in 95 degree temperatures. We then looped south through the gorgeous Heber Valley. What an amazing ...

The morning came and went, and at ...

... the way to see what we could see.

The road to the island is over a causeway similar to Philip Island to those who know Victoria Australia.
We stopped at the top of a hill and just looked round at the peaceful scene of mountains in the background, and a lake in the foreground.
I didn't fancy scrambling over big rocks to the edge, so just looked round.
I was entranced to see ...

... steep! Glad we are not skiing Snowbird this trip.
People in and around Salt Lake rely on public transportation because it is cheap, reliable and easier than finding a parking place. I took a bus to Snowbird and back and then got a transfer to the Trax (train) to Temple Square.
The library was just around the corner from the station. Once inside I watched a short video on the library and learned about the millions of ...
