      • We woke up in Salt Lake City at 8:00 AM.
      • Today we will be touring the Salt Lake Mormon Temple.
      • Jack and I are not Mormon, but we both enjoy learning about other religions and the history of them.
      • When we arrived, I was stunned at how gorgeous the outside of the temple was.
      • It was open for touring from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM and admission was free.
      • We got there at 9:30 AM
      • We did not ...

      ... theory is that it will support the dome in a 7.3 level earthquake. Lilly says she’s going to be in Norway when the big one hits. ☺

      Note: The architect that designed and installed the anti-earthquake measures is the uncle of the young man working in the visitor’s center on Saturday where we also meet his parents. Mom is the architect’s sister. It’s a small world.

      ... along with many other uses. We got a short tour and wish I had listened better, but I was taking pictures. This hall seats 21,000 folks and is just awesome. Its pipe organ only has 7,500 pipes. Go figure. The lighting for the stage area has 1,600 spotlights. They can broadcast is many languages. The seating are for the choir can all be removed and it becomes a plain old stage for whatever. Just walking around the grounds with its ...
