The shop was right beside a train track and the owner was having a sale, that when you heard the train whistle you could get 40% off a yard of fabric, so I took advantage of that. Grace successfully talked me into buying her some red cowboy boots. She has wanted red ...

... of block the view of the peaks anyway. Bill wouldn't approve of these photo ops.

Today's travel concludes in Capulin, NM, a small town near Capulin Volcano National Monument - CLOSED. So, with nothing else to do in town, we check out the campsite washroom, which is stocked with a bible and gun accessories ads.

Time to bed down. Lights out. Goodnight.

... how close I came to jumping over the counter and doing it myself or smacking him around a bit. Guess he was new and had no experience with the Yellowstone programs yet.

Since we woke up a bit later than expected we decide to grab breakfast in Mammoth. The buffet is pretty much what we see everywhere, but it's good enough.

Yesterday at dinner we found out we were lucky: To get to the southern entrance/exit of the park you can either drive via "Old ...
