    Long travel day today, got in at 3:45pm. Was actually on Blue Ridge Parkway for little bit, then it got REALLY interesting. LOVE this campsite. We are actually sitting outside voluntarily at 4pm and enjoying it. Still humid but wonderfully cooler. Fireflies! Babbling brook sounds soooo ...

    ... with bright oranges, yellows and reds! The road runs along the crest and there are plenty of pull-outs that probably provide great views, but low clouds kept us from seeing much.
