What a miserable place!
It's hot as hell, the water in the pool looks like someone poured milk into it, and there is nothing to do in the area.

It was incredible to be grubby travellers bouncing along in our oversized kitchen appliance camping at Walmart and then to be amongst a family with home cooked meals in woodland lake paradise. If we had one at home, i would be there a few times each week. Tonight, Courtney ordered the buttermilk pancakes with fried apples and whipped cream. Nancy had a delicious grilled chicken BLT sandwich with hash ...

... back some great memories and I definitely will be back in the future to enjoy some more. It's a beautiful place to visit when you have some down time, to get back in tune with nature and meet some very loving people along the way. Where I stayed is near a huge lake, that spans a few towns including the town of Gaston, NC. In the summertime people from all over the country come to visit the awesome lake and have fun at the lake houses, fishing and ...
