Museum of the Confederacy was great, as was a tour of Confederate President Jefferson Davis' White House. Unfortunately,some really ugly buildings are jammed right to the door. Did a little shopping there, including buying a tie! :)
... It’s a chain that we discovered on last year’s drive up north – we had been thinking of Chinese or Thai food for dinner but when we saw we were near a Famous Dave’s, our choice was made.
As we depart Delaware we continue our trek south towards the suburbs of Richmond VA where our next stopover is scheduled. Robin and Phillip (Casey's sister and husband) have graciously opened their home and are giving us respite for the week. This visit to Richmond also gives us a much anticipated chance to see J.J. We have really missed him and Casey was truly ecstatic. She's missed having the opportunity to do what mothers do best - Nag! ;o).

... we headed back home-home, to Mechanicsville. I cut some of the grass there and washed the Caddy. Nelly was happy to see us and gave everyone lot's of kisses. In the end we put over 10,000 miles on the car. It seems like a lot but I have to say it went by fast. Next time I'll be on a Harley.
