      ... progress to large enclosures made of PVC pipe and (funnily enough-) chicken wire! These are moved around the pasture twice a day to give them fresh grass and while they're not 100% predator proof (U.Alan shot a racoon who was munching on a chicken one morning), they certainly help keep the owls and buzzards, racoons and foxes out. The dairy cows are all Jerseys, with big brown eyes, large round bellies and a gentle nature... at least until you frustrate them while milking! A few ...
