This past Sa**************ed over to Clemmons Educational State Forest near Clayton for an afternoon hike. Betsy was leading the hike and there were about 15 of us participating. The forest doesn't open until 11, so we got started around 1130. We started off from the Water Quality Deck near the pond and got some pictures of the nice fall color on the pond. The still waters on the pond made an almost perfect mirror, reflecting ...

Stopping in Raleigh, NC to visit Aunt Irma

A travel blog entry by rollinos on Oct 12, 2014

... empty lot, then drive to Jeep to Aunt Irms. Aunt Irma looks good, says she feels good but hates all the tubes! We talked about Grandkids, great-grandkids, football and Enno and Gui. I know Aunt Irma would love to see them again. Her assisted living facility is lovely - even if she is ...
