    On to Montgomery, AL and then Tues. June 2nd we were in Aiken, SC where we visited our dear "old" friends Bob & Bonnie Nowak. Always so nice to spend time with them - sharing news of families & friends. Weather was a little threatening, so decided to forgo a day of golf, and we headed for home a day early!

    • Multiple first-aid kits!! If you lose one, what.....you're S.O.L?
    • Not only did I place an index card in each bag with emergency contacts, addresses, embassy information, etc. but this time around I wrote Bali, Australia, Africa, and the United State's embassy information on the inside of my waist pack.     ... to being the very confident person that I have set out to be. All of the positive attributes that I have gained recently have been because I studied abroad, and I am forever grateful for that.

    One thing that I really benefited from, oddly enough, was gaining a little bit of weight. I'm glad I got to relax and enjoy myself and eat gelato whenever I wanted. I got to experience having a warm and flaky croissant at 3AM and always ate the entire pizza. It was fun! ...

    ... empty lot, then drive to Jeep to Aunt Irms. Aunt Irma looks good, says she feels good but hates all the tubes! We talked about Grandkids, great-grandkids, football and Enno and Gui. They are in Vero Beach and Gui isn't feeling too well. Her bad is very painful but she was determined to come to the states because her Grandkids were coming to visit.
