    ... line to go up in the Washington monument and since the weather was not the best for photographs, I continued on past it and headed to the Jefferson Memorial which I had not visited in a good number of years.....if ever.     Found a great breakfast place. Best coffee to date. The coffee has been dreadful.

    Was going to spend a couple of hours at the National Air and Space Museum but ended up with 6 hours! It was fabulous. Loads of actual planes hanging off the ceiling. Lots of accurate models. Very good exhibits. Amazing pictures of planets, especially Mars, comets and galaxies ...
