      ... and so nice. Such a sweet and loving family. After a grueling 35 hour journey, and a week of recovering from jet lag, we are back in the USA and planning our next adventure. This one will be closer to home, but you probably won't see a new blog until April. Until then, we hope everyone's New Year is off with a bang, and the rest of the year is good to you.       ... a bird watcher or enjoy hiking the outdoors immersed with the wildlife, I highly recommend Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary and (if you want close encounters with Alligators) the Bird Rookery Swamp Management Area. Our outings to Lovers Key State Park and Calusa Heritage Trail were also very enjoyable.

We enjoyed showing them our part of Florida and on their first day, Island hopped our way South from Tampa, driving down Longboat Key, Siesta Key and Casey Key- the narrow Islands that form the Inter coastal waterways from Sarasota to Venice.
