        We have been making the most of a few days down-time before we start the serious touring. It has been very interesting & fun spending Christmas & New Year with Don & he has shared a lot of his favourite places & good friends with us.         Technically, I had two full days in Phoenix, which isn't always the case when staying two nights. That length of stay gives time to get to a place, explore a bit and sleep, then have one full day before leaving, but I was flying at 11.54pm, so could kill a full day.         13 hours on the road and we pulled into the driveway at 9:30 p.m. Wasn't that bad. Had some good Mexican food in Las Cruces. Place called Chilitos. I really do not like Texas. It is ugly.
