I'm living in Wilmington, NC currently. My boyfriend and I decided to go to Myrtle Beach since it was raining all day in Wilmington. We headed to North myrtle, about an hour and 10 min from Wilmington, and we went to barefoot landing. We walked around for about an hour then decided to do something else. We went to broadway at the beach and went to helicopter ...

Our true plan was to anchor somewhere along the Wacamaw River up one of the Cypress lined Creeks. Gary spent hours researching and we had up to 7 possible stops. But because of my work we needed good cell service; and after trying all 7 we knew we could not stay in this area.

No complaints. Nice southern town; good food; and we made some friends.

The time has come to move south. We told Kate that we would probably be gone when she returned from school today so we got big hugs and kisses before she left. We will miss her bright and cheery little face and the company of her mom and dad. It has been a delightful week+ and knowing we may not seem Matt, Sue and Kate again for a while weighs heavy but we take comfort in knowing they are in a supportive ...
