Hello everyone, we are at one of our favorite RV parks in Panama City Beach, FL. The beaches here are wonderful, white sugar sand and Emerald green water. We were here last year about this same time so we planned a return trip. This year the weather has NOT been very favorable for beaching. After leaving the Venice area we headed back up to St. Petersburg where we visited the "Sunken Gardens".This botanical garden has been a landmark since 1935, and the 4 acre property was purchased and started by a plumber who was also and avid gardener. He drained a shallow lake that dropped 15 feet below street level to provide rich soil to grow fruits and exotic plants from all over the world.

Ted was awake before Sheree and started the drive around 6:00 am. It was foggy and damp so not much could be seen for several hours until the sun burned it off. When we were hungry we were already at St. Cloud where we found there was a Bojangles, so we stopped for the fluffy biscuits. So good. Sheree also tried grits with cheese for the first time.
