The Ponce Inlet Lighthouse is located 10 miles south of Daytona. It is 175 ft high and was built in 1887. It was designated as a National Historic Monument in 1998. The original keepers' dwellings and out buildings are still stand. It is one of the largest and best preserved of the lighthouses in the US.
