      The Longest Day Begins

... I met up with some friends from work for a going away party for the intern that I had worked with all summer. We went out to dinner at the Wheelhouse then to Alex's house until the early morning. After I got back to my apartment, I was awake into the wee hours of the morning to finish packing. I hoped sleep deprivation now would help me sleep on the flight to London ...

By the time we left Houston in the rear view, it was close to 6pm and getting dark, but we kept pushing on.

We arrived at Gulf Coast RV Resort in Beaumont about 7pm and had to hook up in the dark, but we did and got everything inside settled. Now it's time for a good night sleep.

... conductor asked for her ticket, she didn't have one. She gave him $20 but he told her it was $48. She didn't have enough money, so after an argument he let her pay the "internet" rate which was $36. Both women looked to have some substance issues going on and both were probably in their 50's although it was hard to tell because they both looked to have a lot of "hard miles" on ...
