We are winding up our trip to Dallas and have spent the time with Simon and his family. Sunday, Monday and Tuesday has meant beautiful weather with daytime temperatures reaching 21 degrees and very sunny. We have visited a number of parks and done a few good walks. Sunday we went to Lewisville. We miss the coffee shops attached to the parks we have back in Australia. On Monday Steve and Christine went to Grapevine Mills DFO to try and retrieve the taxes ...

The park has many camping sites allowing for walking and ...

Today, 16 months later, I still have people saying things to me like, "when did you get back?" I then have to bite my tongue to prevent from saying something extremely sarcastic. Instead, I respond with a simple, "July 2013." I realized that life goes on, with or without you in it. Although many will speak of how much you mean to them, ...

... for making this pilgrimage, the same general desire, placed on our hearts, has brought the five of us together. Yesterday, we gathered in Coppell, Texas at the Pagels residence (Thank you Mr. & Mrs. Pagels for hosting us!) They made us a true American last supper- Burgers, Shiner, and Blue Bell. We won't be having any of those for the next 6 weeks so it was a very nice send-off meal. Coppellians- Harry, Michael, and Kristen joined us for the night. We ...
