From Roswell we drive to Carlsbad Caverns. The caverns are on the Unesco world heritage list, so we decide to pay them a visit. Located 250 meters under ground are loads of stalagmites, stalactites, draperies, soda straws and popcorn. Soda straws being the tiny ones hanging from the ceiling . In Europe we call them Spaghetti. Bruce and Judy arrived at our hotel at 8am, and we began the 1.5 hour drive out to Tyler. It was a nice time to get to know Judy who is such a warm and lovely Southern woman.
