... been spoiled with great weather for the past 9 days so I couldn't complain to much..that was until I couldn't find my rain jacket. I had accidentally left my rain jacket in a restaurant in Delaware Water Gap, PA. I hiked for 3 rainy and cold days until I was able to pick up a poncho from a little trailside store. I was finally able to get a hold of the restaurant and they sent my jacket to Pawling so I could pick it up. At least now when it rains ...
... was the opposite of laid-back Chris, she liked to have control and give instructions. We just got on with it though and didn't have too much of a bad evening, although we were still in a bit of emotional pain from leaving our last group, who we had formed solid bonds with. Driving through the state of New York was amazing on this leg though and fascinating to see the wealth across the state.
... and then on our way. Spotted a feild of to acco being picked by Amish women and a couple of horse and carts being driven by Quakers!!! Interesting folk to say the least!!! We drove onwards to Newburgh where the Orang County Choppers are based. I am so proud of Steve he has adjusted to RHSide road driving well and keeping his witts about him. So tiring though...I think if I offered to drive Steve would not ...
