Between what was and what would be two ridiculously rainy days, we got a fantastic sunny 75 degree day to enjoy outdoors. After a fun breakfast, we suited up and went to the neighborhood pool. Complete with water slide and sand pit - it couldn't have had more appeal for 3 kids coming off of 1,000 miles in 4 days. We swam for hours and had intense matches of monkey in the middle :). We were treated to a beautiful sunset along the ...

Minimal damage occurred - ...

Woke up this morning to snow falling outside - surreal and sensational way to start the day. My wonderful husband made coffee and brought me yoghurt and pandora in bed and we rushed out the door to the day spa. Here I indulged in an hour massage, pedicure and manicure. What a way to have a birthday! When I finished we headed over to the french markets for some local produce and a yummy ...

... game of thrones" book on a audio book app. This book has been thoroughly entertaining so far. We drove through OHIO which didn't provide much entertainment for a hungry traveler's eye. Lots of corn and boring highway. Ultimately this led to us being extremely happy to arrive in Ann Arbor which turned out to be an extremely pleasing place to stay. It was much like a spread out and even cleaner Burlington Vermont. While there didn't seem to be the ...
