I drove all the way across the great state of Missouri today, starting in the Southwest and crossing at St Louis in the Northeast.
I had a perfect driving day. Light traffic, temps in the high 60s to low 70s, zero wind and clear blue skies.
No pictures today as the only thing I saw was rolling hills of green. The trees are just starting to turn fall colors ...
Up early for another long day. Our first is Alton Harley where we all buy a shirt and then it's off to find a garage for fuel and lunch before heading onto the freeway. It has started to rain, so the riders have put on their wet weather gear. Our GPSs are set for Nashville, our destination for tomorrow, but we have no set destination for tonight.
We leave the Harley shop and I'm caught at a red light, then the next red light, by now ...
... hook up and over 4 miles of bike path. We spent 3 days relaxing and riding our bikes. This was one beautiful park and receives 2 peaches and 1 gem.
This morning we left for Springfield and the State Fair campground. This is one crazy campground. I will report more on this campground and the Springfield area, in a few days.
... into Kansas and then drove around Kansas City. The Great Wolf Lodge is on the western side of the city in Kansas. Another state down!
