... We rode in a helicopter for about 5 min for 40$ each. It was a quick ride but a great experience. After that we headed back to barefoot landing to see the tigers from T.I.G.E.R.S preservations. people were taking pictures holding the tiger but that was 100$. We just decided to look at the cub tigers through the glass. That was a nice experience. They were very playful. ...

We loved this anchorage. Under-rated in the guide books. we swam; went ashore
and have great sunset and sunrise moments. This will be our last night in North Carolina, tomorrow we start our tour of South Carolina.

After the frantic two days at Disney, it was time to head north. I knew I had to get to Charlotte as this was where I had bought the flights out of back to JFK. I decided to go the route of Jacksonville, Charleston, Myrtle Beach and then finally Charlotte.

Jacksonville is still in the state of Florida and although we got in late, and perhaps I ventured a bit too far on the wrong side of town, it was one of the more 'rough' places I have ...

No boating or plans today. Just enjoyed staying at camp, doing chores and playing with pups.

65 degrees outside this morning! A perfect time to go flea marketing, farm fresh produce shopping and a stop at a New York Deli all along the Shallotte Hwy. 17 highway!

... hit the beach at sunrise. Should be a pretty sight. It is weird to be on the beach and not see the sun setting over it. I suppose the east coasters think it is strange to see it set on the ocean when they visit our coast. It really is nice though because you don't have the sun in your face.

Well, time to get the pictures edited and get these things posted. It is cooling off nicely and will be a great night for sleeping. Talk to you ...
