... way to our house and they were able to fix. Ride was nice surprisingly cool most of the day about 500 miles. Had a nice dinner at Red Lobster took our showers and now time to relax. Back on road tomorrow about 7:30am. Will post tomorrow night at next ...

Fortunately the hotel clerk had some very simple instructions to offer, but not until we were frustrated with the mappers and with each other. ... David Thayer told me at their 50th they didn't have music because everyone just wanted to spend time talking to each other. That was so true tonight! Just chatting with everyone was priceless! After a day of cruising down country roads through Indiana and Ohio that my GPS sent me I arrived at the Michigan Welcome Center around 4pm very tired. In addition to the fatigue of riding continuously for three weeks, I was subjected to a ride through Indianapolis and Toledo. Both cities had a lot of traffic lights and it seemed as they all turned red just for me. Garmin my GPS maker has been excellent throughout this trip except for today. We settled in Monday afternoon at the campground which is located next to Greenfield Lake. Tuesday Patti drove us to Dearborn, MI and the Henry Ford Museum. This place is absolutely amazing!! The museum and village are huge. Henry Ford collected items around the country which represent innovation and invention.
