    ... with family/friends in Sweden. We surprised Eric with our news of the Odyssey trip but he didn't miss a beat because before we had a chance to invite ourselves, Eric said they have a guest suite in their home downstairs and plenty of room. His wife Kristen (whom we’ve adored since the very first moment we met) would be home with their daughter Kaia all week.

    ... folks at the Icelandic checkin were cheerful and helpful – and the bags and boxes were NOT over the weight limits, so we paid $56 per bike for the shipping, and were off. Our bags went through the big scanner, but the two security men opened our bike boxes and tested several of the items for chemicals. They assured us they’d seal the boxes back up securely!
