Hampton Inn Milwaukee-Northwest

I'm working on a grant for the National Institutes of Health that is due early next week. Once that's done, it's full-on preparation for our month-long Journey to India. Daisy is doing her Santa impression (making her list, checking it thrice) and we received 4 new pieces of luggage the other day. <br><br>The airline tickets are booked and now we just have to finalize some domestic trips while on the sub-continent.<br>

Exciting times! One more day before the big trip and we are doing out last minute preparations before we go. There are things to be packed though and that will get done tonight and then a little bit more tomorrow. We have an evening flight so we should be pretty well rested and ready to scout about Copenhagen as soon as we get checked into the hotel.<br><br>Stay tuned for more!<br>

Thanks to Rob for allowing me to stay in his baller ass apartment situated directly on top of a bar, I got to experience the greatness that is Milwaukee (when the weather is nice). ... are extraordinarily well-mannered, and only expect good manners from those who visit their city. The food: spectacular! From the littlest crepe shop to the finest restaurant, everything is done with pride. ( Well, there have been a few exceptions: notably, the macaroons I picked up on the I'le St. Louis, from a patissiere who apparently smoked while he made them; they tasted like smoke.
