    Okay hotel, nothing fancy. I only stayed here one night for work. Rooms were clean.

    Didn't hurry to get going and both slept well. Then to breakfast at The Boulanger Bakery, for ham and cheese croussant and a cappaccino. Was asked "Do want it wet or dry?". Vacant looks......hmm what does that mean? Answer: Wet is with more milk, and dry with more coffee. Chose wet and it was nice. Another lovely day and we're looking forward to going to Google Headquarters for lunch to meet Chris and look around. ...

    ... house had just sunk into the ground. There were still lemons growing on their tree in the garden! Then we went back to their house for lunch. L prepared delicious whitebait patties which we had with Sauvignon blanc! And some Xmas cake from Oz recipe!     ... right before bed but it was too cold to walk home in the rain and we were looking for somewhere warm and dry to sit down!) the next morning was stressful as we hectic ally packed our bags with a splitting headache and after a nailpolish spill and a key fiasco, we checked out on time, had sandwiches for breakfast from a cafe around the corner and got to the airport and are waiting to board our flight to Vegas!     So one thing that really bugs me about hotels is the inconsistency and fairly hypocritical attempts to suggest they are environmentally friendly when we all know its just a way to cover up cost savings. Examples. There is always sign about the towels and how's by reusing them and not having new ones is using less water. Ok, but how about fixing the plug in the sink so you don't have to leave the tap running when you wash or shave ? Another one is soap. When ...
