      Started the day with Tonga toast at Kona Cafe at the Polynesian. Tonga toast is very large French toast slices that is covered in cinnamon sugar. Between the two slices is a lot of bananas, some mushed up some whole pieces. After breakfast we headed to Port Canaveral and were on the ship around noon.       ... in Mirebalais is quite different than the "big" city - cargo containers line the city streets - people have turned them into store fronts / houses, etc. - the river that run through the village is filled with people - fishing, bathing, washing clothes, swimming - just cooling down. House's vary - cement block/ thatched roof / tented.

      ... I traded my togs for something more appropriate and took myself off to an art auction. Complimentary champagne and a look at some art. Did not have a spare $10,000 in my pocket, so I just enjoyed the champagne!

      ... two missions. Interesting that from what we saw on the documentaries and what he said that the astronauts aren't scared at the launch...they are more excited. I think if it were me, I would be terrified!! We walked through the rocket garden and then we were done! What an awesome place!!
