... raging since about 6 calmed down a bit. Got home about 1030 and managed to catch Lucy who was having a disturbed night in her new flat. It was hot but she didn't want to open any windows while she was there on her own. Bound to be disturbed in a new place for a while. She'd done a massive job today of cleaning and putting away her stuff though. Had a look around via the FT camera on her phone and it was looking very shipshape for the week ahead. ...

    ... The astronauts experience 3g on take-off and 2.5g on re-entry. (Formula 1 is up to 6g).

After lunch at the Orbit Café we boarded the bus for our guided tour of the Launch Control Centre. This is still an active facility, and has only been open to the public since the retirement of the Shuttle Program. The centre will be off limits when the new space program gets underway. The four firing rooms in the Launch Control ...

... an RV service center to fix said leak, a plug left off by RV service center we took van to pre-trip to make sure we wouldn't have things like mysterious water spews coming from under the van. Then there were a series of hurry up and wait calls from our Hood River broker who had a buyer for the house. It seems I wasn't quite ready to make the leap. Lucky for me I have the best husband in the world because I'm guessing cash buyers who are willing to meet our ...
