... raging since about 6 calmed down a bit. Got home about 1030 and managed to catch Lucy who was having a disturbed night in her new flat. It was hot but she didn't want to open any windows while she was there on her own. Bound to be disturbed in a new place for a while. ... headquarters, our captain, and port agents have resulted in our being able to dock at Port Canaveral this evening and tomorrow. The injured passenger will be taken off the ship and we'll find something to explore. Lee had the gym to herself. She's going to the movie this afternoon but I'll continue to relax in our room. I'm not "sick" but I don't feel great. Instead of getting dressed up for the Grand Dining Room, we've decided to give the Room Service menu a try ...
... pretty funny. We will have an opportunity to see his entire show on Sunday night. Charles and I walked out on the deck and it was a beautiful evening. The ship is moving along at a pretty good clip. So far it is a nice, smooth ride, just the way I like it. We stopped in one of the shops and bought a bag of pretzels for a snack. Boy are they proud of those pretzels. We may need to take out a mortgage to pay for them.

... welts. Needless to say James and I were soon hopping up and down like fools in a crazed frenzy and madly brushing fire ants off our clothes and off each other. I am sure it would have been a hysterical sight if anyone had been there to witness it other than the pygmy hippos. They were probably laughing. Somehow I only managed to get two bites; thank goodness for long pants, long sleeves, and thick boots, also known as appropriate fieldwork clothing. The bites of course swelled ...
... and a visit to the launch pads, finishing with the Apollo / Saturn V Centre.
Once back at the visitor centre there was plenty to fill the rest of the day:
- The Rocket Park with a collection of rockets from the past including a Saturn I rocket
- Hands on simulators were you can practice your docking skills
- A memorial to Astronauts who have died participating in the space program
