Hampton Inn Marshall, Mi

The English Inn in Eaton Rapids (outside of Lansing Mi) is where we got married one year ago October 4, we went back to celebrate our anniversary and recall that "day of days". It was a little warmer this year but still a nice cool misty October afternoon / evening. Here are a few photos from this year, we will post some photos from the wedding in a few days.

On the way back to the airport the traffic on the freeway was slow enough to take decent photo's of downtown, except the haze downtown looked more like an industrial district and required severe photoshoping to get the buildings to stand out.

... time we pulled into a Country Inn and Suites we had racked up 625 miles for the day. We are both pretty tired but again, the weather was great, the roads were very good and we had a fun day. Tomorrow we will have a short ride into Niagara Falls (the Canadian side) and we have booked a great room as a treat for getting this far in the trip. Our good friends Nita and Cactus ...

I'm running out of gas again, so I pull off in what looks like the middle of nowhere, incidentally, it's right outside of Kalamazoo. A place called Galesburg, Michigan. This place is just.... falling apart. That's the best way to describe it.

I start to think I won't find any gas anywhere, when I find an old, dilapidated Marathon. The lady inside says that I can't use her washroom, but I'm free to use the washroom in the laundromat across ...
