YES! Finally heading west on I-24. It took us awhile (on inclines, we were going 50 MPH!), but we made it to Whittington, Illinois, at about 10:45pm. Somehow, in the dark, we found a gorgeous, lake-view campsite at Wayne Fitzgerrell State Park.

Right now we are trying to settle back into our routines and enjoy our new home (in which we have spent less time than on the road). The dogs are back to patrolling our backyard and woods, and searching for Henry (the chipmunk).
