    You would think that since they didn't so to sleep until after midnight last night, they would sleep late!! But NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Brandon was up about 6 and the other three followed soon after.

    Grandpa made breakfast of Pancakes and Bacon, with the help of the microwave, and soon they were asking to go swimming. So off we went for early in the day swimming. This time I remembered to pack water and snacks.

    ... all had flood gauges that went up to 5 feet, so I suspect all of the roads had gates that could be used to close the roads to through traffic during flash floods. Of course, this is all speculation at this point.

    ... ice flows looked suspicious to someone who was not aware of our tactics. Pretty funny, now that I think about it.

    We arrived just before 7 pm, totally exhausted and elated that we can finally sleep in tomorrow morning. We had a pool side party with pizza, beer and fireworks (it is the 4 th of July). It was great to have time to relax together and play in the pool.
