      ... the shop and knew what we were getting. We got an American favorite, Chex Mix.
      The plane was small. Like, really really really small!! We were only just above the clouds and then the sunset began. It was amazing. Absolutely beautiful!
      As we landed at Madison airport, I realized that there was a small layer of snow in the ground. It was freezing and that just made all of us happier.
      My grand parents picked us up and without any delay we were off the the farm. ...

      ... of 9:30, and after a really yummy breakfast at the Village Green Lodge (yes, I'm plugging it we loved it), we had plenty of time. (oh, and btw, the cherry yogurt with pears was the only cherries we saw in our visit... sad :(

      So we drove north, too cold for the goats on the roof, kept driving north, missed the turn to Ellison's Bluff, kept on going up to Door ...

      ... and they were leaving as we arrived. This is a beautiful little canyon with lots to enjoy starting with a walk through that deciduous forest. I was disappointed I had forgotten so many of the trees, recognizing only a few. Then the layers of rock and the trickle of the stream, saw a turtle and a snake, heard the birds. We made it to the waterfall and sat and enjoyed the area ...

      ... I have ever read 'Laos is known for the worlds largest cave arachnids". Yikes.

      I've included a few links where I could. We hope to provide additional details and photos while we are traveling. Wifi will be accessible but we will not know how often until we're actually on the ground.
