    ... thing which told you when they were near. Evan must be a bit of a speed freak. Not sure how much more of this american food i can take. Makes you feel absolutely rank. The plan was to watch monday night football which was the New York Patriots vs Kansas Chiefs but we ended up playing a bit of xbox.     ... to Mt. Sterling, IL. I was really hoping we'd encounter a Starbucks or a Dunkin' Donuts in the very least, but it wasn't meant to be....an hour and fifteen minutes of cornfields later, we arrived in Mt. Sterling, population 1900, and settled into a McDonald's for their wi-fi. We're staying at the fairgrounds tonight and if they'll let us, we're going to stay there the whole weekend too.

    ... we were mainly on the farm and staying in a hotel in Canton, IL, but it's either changed significantly or my memory is **** because it didn't look anything like I remembered. Strange.

    ... to turn around and go looking for that rock. Found the rock and not too soon as a truck passed and there was no rock any more. After hunting in the sweltering sun I found my GPS. The plastic cover had a few deep grooves in it as it flew from my bike at 55mph and hit the road. I turned the GPS on and it worked!!! Thanks to Garmin and their rugged (and expensive) 'motorcycle' GPS.
