We purchased a ferry and a horse carriage ride ticket for our day on the island which covers 3.8 square miles (9.8 km2) in land area. It is located in Lake Huron, at the eastern end of the Straits of Mackinac, between the state's Upper and Lower Peninsulas. European exploration began in the 17th century. One rises while the other opens up in the middle and each side flips up. The queue ...

... to Toronto, crashing in a cheap motel for a few hours until taking the shuttle to the airport at 3am. I was in Boston by 2pm and picked up by my cousin, Courtney who along with Aunt Justine were in on the surprise. Dressed and giddy we headed out to Legal's Harborside restaurant and I hid in the back as my sister and mother got settled in. What a perfect reaction when I appeared, both screamed and burst out in tears shocking the other patrons! We ate, ...
