    ... of the plane and think about all the stuff you are missing as you sit in your hot sweaty plane with all those germs! ... as we blast down the open road with the wind and fresh air in our faces!
    ( I would have said hair... but Jim has none! ... lol)

    We have not really stopped to see anything on this trip back so far... so it is about time we take a detour and find a place to make this a little more interesting for ya'all!

    ... 7 p.m. now. I checked the Metro schedules and realized I had to leave no later than 7:52 if I wanted to get out to Dulles to try for the last flight. I raced to eat dinner and run through my departure checklists, dashing out the door at 7:53 and walking to Metro Center to catch an Orange Line train to West Falls Church. There I boarded the 8:45 Washington Flyer bus to IAD, arriving at 9:05.
