... rutted, rocky, dirt road, we had a great day out in the forest. Funny that we just came from Tennessee where there was so much water that it really effected the trips we wanted to do, and now we are in Arkansas where there is not enough water to do the things we want to do. Go figure.

Our last stop was with Lauren and Eric, Luke and John William in Little Rock, Arkansas. The boys had a blast swimming and the girls had some great cuzzie time too. Eric even had a break from call and was able to eat dinner with us. We woke up the next morning and headed all the way into New Iberia. The family was waiting for us with a warm welcome. We all agreed 10 days and about 3000 miles across the country was surprisingly fun! And God blessed us with a safe trek ...

Anyway, we drove for half of our journey today and we were STILL in frickin' Illinois! It felt like sprinting up a down escalator- we just weren't getting anywhere at all!

... We didn’t stop in any one location for too long today which got us to the campground by 3:30. It was suppose to be cooler here (which I guess it is at 36 degrees Celsius) but it feels a lot hotter with the humidity. Thank goodness the kids were able to hit the pool!
