... the plane allowing divers a relatively unimpeded swing through.
The Sikorsky lies just to the right of the Gulfstream in 45 feet of water. Its rotors have been removed but the fuselage all still in place, it’s a looming underwater giant at 73-feet long.
Beyond that is a school bus, which again, conjures an eirie backstory for me—a bus with no brakes on a steep decline and the driver losing control on a sharp “S” turn and plunging ...
So I'm sitting here at Indian Lake with the family. We just came in from the "Ring of Fire" which was really cool; everyone on the lake lit a few red flares on the edge of their property, and as looked out across the lake, there was a line of red flares along the shore. I'm not feeling too prepared for my trip... I leave on thursday. Alot of the stress is due to a certain problem I've been having with the "glorious" Embassy of the Republic of ...
Lakeview, Ohio, United States smcollins... I drove her, parked her,and hooked her up. I slept in her two nights, ate meals in her and even cooked. So..what I learned...1. The bed is quite comfortable2. To reach the food storage cabinets requires a step stool most of the time, and I'm not short.3. The refrigerator does take several hours to get cold.4. Hooking up the water and electric is quite easy.5. This will really be fun!. [IMG]http://i284.photobucket
Lima, Ohio, United States kelpie93Well, 100 days later, and I'm back right where I started. Little will know what I have experienced over the past few months, unless of course it goes to publication, which takes a tremendous dedication on my part. Not much to say, but rather do. Talk is very cheap in my book, and now it is time to put into action my new knowledge, and take advantage of a great oppurtunity. Until next time, Adios!
Lima, Ohio, United States jaskins82We had a good sleep last night (thanks to our beloved air-conditioner) and it was a nice peaceful RV park with noise. We managed to get away by 8.30 towards Lakeview, Ohio, where we are getting our RV outfitted with slide awnings, and it is already 25 degrees, so it's going to be another scorcher today! 10am and it's 29 degrees, wonder if it'll get hotter...!? Arrived at Lakeview, and ...
Lakeview, Ohio, United States alvrezPlanning a trip around the world is very exciting, especially when people tell you that it is not a good idea. It is hard to imagine that in a little more than a month, I will be gone for 100 days to places that English is the second, third or not spoken at all language. A scary thought for most, but for me a new challenge in my quest for culture and knowledge......

Indianapolis, Indiana, United States margaretkirlin... ourselves silly with American-ish food. It wasn't quite the same as Thanksgiving at home, but we had a blast. There was also a dance competition and talent show, which I opted out of in an effort to leave Thanksgiving with my dignity intact :) Other than that, I have been hanging out in my campo a lot. I was there for 3 straight weeks before Thanksgiving and then for two weeks afterwards. Last weekend I hosted a potluck for the volunteers ...
Indianapolis, Indiana, United States margaretkirlin... relatives (who I originally didn't even know existed) and about a year ago, I had managed to find out that Helen (the woman he married after obtaining a Mexican divorce from our great-grandmother) had a will on file with the county where she had died in Harrod. In the will, it indicated that she had left all of her land and possessions to someone named Gary Ric*******. I did a little more hunting around and found that there was still a Gary Ric******* living in ...
