... of fame, Joellyn saying we will have our own notoriety to be remembered by. He also wanted my blog details, so they could follow & read the rip roaring great review about his bar. Seeing our obvious glee with his hospitality, he presented me with one of their logo Tshirts (I of course honoured by wearing for the Evening) and also gave a bottle of sparkly wine called 'Andre' to us to continue our silver celebrations back at the motel. ... for a second, then pull negative G's going down the other side. What a rush! I shot this following video of most of the run, it doesn't illustrate the hills as well as I'd hope, but it is still a kewl run! Most of it is time compressed, about 27 minutes into 5. The rains pushed us into Marshfield late in the day. We escaped for a brief time at Olanna's cafe in Springfield. We had a second breakfast that carried us down the road. ... so much.... Anyway she spent about half-an-hour talking the route with my dad, signed his book and sent us off.

... the country side, his smile is priceless. It truly is wonderful to watch my dad experience such excitement, mixed with nostalgia. Really though, I am imagining his glee, as my eyes are shut as hard as possible. I find it less terrifying.

If sharing dangerous experiences with your son is a way to show your love, I feel I am the most loved person ever...Newt must really be trying to show his fatherly love.....
