... It's rare that my family gets to all get together!

As per usual, I am being pretty neurotic about packing. I have not packed for long-term travels for fall/winter weather. I am planning on taking a large suitcase, a duffle bag, and a backpack. I hate to overpack, but it will be worse to have to scramble to purchase winter clothes in Stockholm!

... Mountain Laser Show projected on the enormous 'rock', which also has the carved portraits of three Confederate heroes from the Civil War, Jefferson Davis, Robert E. Lee and 'Stonewall' Jackson. Interestingly, the carvings were initially done under the leadership of Gutzon Borglum, son of Danish immigrants, who moved on to carve the four presidents on Mount Rushmore. Camped on site 39 for 14 days for the first time. Great site, shady, private, good TV antenna reception. Pad was not completely level leaned to left. Gina Jay Bartlett camped at site 40. Grassy site we laid out together here. Bates and Herndons and Reynolds camped also. Enjoyed meeting the Reynolds and Herndons. Went to new Mexican restaurant ...
