We left the house in the capable paws of our sweet pets. Dixie had just been given a new toy to keep her busy while we were gone; we kissed her goodbye and headed out. Fancy took us to the airport. We stopped at Chick-fil-A for a quick breakfast. Apparently Matt is a regular there because the gal at the drive-thru already had his "usual" order of two chicken biscuits ready for him! The next morning we headed to Coffee Call...a local favorite for Cafe Au Lait and Beignets...one word for this one...YUM!


We arrived home to a dog that missed us very much and a husband/dad who enjoyed his time alone as well (I don't think he was too jealous...he doesn't like crowds or lines).
