It was hard to narrow down what we wanted to do during our short stay here and decided on the Lincoln Park Zoo. It is historic, beautiful, compact in space but delivers on super cool stuff, as it is free!

We packed up and headed out to the city early and the girls were amazed at the huge buildings and so much to look at and see. It reminded me a little bit of Baltimore, but has ...

... the rest of the day, we decided we were good to stay. With less than a half hour to spare, we rushed out to McDonald's to make good on a promise of a Happy Meal while on vacation. We reached the Dojang just in time to change back into uniforms. Mom and Anna cheered from the sidelines while Macy competed and Dad helped judge. Since we were there we decided 'why not one more class?' So Macy and Dad rinsed and repeated, and Mom and Anna went in search of a little crafty shopping. One ...
