... had just come out of the smokehouse. They even had homemade butter and syrup to put on everything. It sounds pretty decadent but it was just tastings so we really only got a bite of everything. Everything was delicious. The whole park is run by volunteers and it seems like the volunteers are all southern grandmas who definitely know how to cook. For those of us in Jacksonville, whatever we did, wherever we were, she was a part of it. Honor roll on a report card was rewarded with dinner out with Grandma and Pop-Pop. In a speech to me at my Bat Mitzvah, she professed to cherish all the day school bubby/zaide Shabbats, Chanukah programs, and model seders. ... Last weekend there Cajun cooked up some fried gator tail, gator ribs and gator jambalaya. MMMM MMMM GOOD!!! Once again everybody made dishes and we turned it into a party.

Some of the pictures attached were from cindy and eds dock (most of the fishing ones) which we are thankful to for letting us fish off of. Theres a lot of mixed pics hope you enjoy them.

... all. This little town's claim to fame was that a few movies had been filmed there, including Forrest Gump. It was a beautiful sunny day and some women had tables set up in front of a church selling preserves and jams. We met horse drawn carriages, filled with tourists, as we headed down the Main Street towards the tourist information centre. The centre was in an old armoury building with a Spanish influence.
