    ... wind which I was told is not good for Gliding. Good wind ensures that the glider is in the Air for a longer Duration.

    There is also an amusement park closeby where children can enjoy, and you also get to see a Big Golf Course, with people trying their shots.

    Overall a nice place if you are passing by Elmira, or are visiting Watkins, to add to the places to visit. I doubt anyone would like to travel 4-5 hours to just visit this place.

    We had a full day of hiking today starting at Watkins Glen State Park at 8:30.No one was manning the gate when we arrived on Thu morning and there were already a bunch of cars in the lot. When we asked about paying, someone said it was free if you get there before they open. The Gorge Trail was incredible.
