The plan for today is to head to Anne's sister's house in Rockville, Maryland. She was kind enough to offer to put us up for the night, and even promised purloo - one of Dave's favorite meals. All with a free ride to the train station tomorrow. Can't beat that level of service!

And now - we sleep, or at least try to. After 15 months of planning, the trip is now 7 hours away. I've checked on the passports about 9 times in the past hour. There's nothing left to check off the to-do list, nothing more to pack, nothing else to plan or research. Here's hoping it all goes off the way we imagined it!

The start of our trip.
Departure from Huntsville toward Chicago. Got an all day lay over in Chicago because there is only one flght to Chicago from Huntsville.
All went well other than the American Airlines agent had to physically complete the baggage connection between Paris and Malta. This meant that he had to hand write the ultimate destination. I don' think he has ever heard of Malta.

... needed. We swam in the pool, played under the sprinklers with the boys, rode quad bikes on the lawn, watched TV, ate and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with our three nephews. Lincoln is four, Nic is two and Baby Will is one, so we can't deny that it could get a little crazy in the house at times! Indy and Nic played a constant game of tug-o-war with their toys but to our surprise both would ask for each other when they woke in the morning.
