Departure from Huntsville toward Chicago. Got an all day lay over in Chicago because there is only one flght to Chicago from Huntsville.

Finally it was time for graduation, where we were presented with our team photo, certificate ...

... of a break from the kids while they did a secret mission & we were left to design our mission patch. Everyone pretty much sat there & it took a lot for me avoid going into full teacher mode. In the end, of course, the girls did the work while the boys talked shop. So with my less than stellar artistic skills I put the ideas together & one of the other 'moms' did all of the actual artistic shading & coloring. After an early Mexican themed lunch we did training for our ...

... accent?? Maybe if we were from Queensland or Western Australia I'd accept an accent but not Victorians?! So we had a 'team' photo, then did the multi-axis trainer ( the spinny thing), did training for our first mission & built a rocket...all before dinner! Fish & chips or Pit roast for dinner, then learnt about exercising, eating, going to the toilet & even vomiting in space - I wish that talk ...
