Got stuck overnight in Houston due to United changing plane arrangements. They put us up in this motel about 3 miles from the airport and surrounded by NOTHING, no grocery stores, no bars, barely a gas station convience store. The food was terrible, I suggest you save your vouchers for the airport restaurants.

... The map clearly has not been updated in a long while!) He did say, however, that there is a very nice, thorough, exhibit about evolution, so something is up to date!
Leaving the museums, we headed north and west to Hockley, home of the Showboat Drive-In, a theater built from the ground up in 2005, and opened in 2006. In 2007, they added a second screen. We were concerned about the weather, ...
... and colour coding for the level of congestion which is very accurate - pretty much every set of traffic lights has cameras set up providing this information which is impressive!
Elizabeth and I took the older 3 kids to CYC and then came home for dinner. Their eldest daughter, Alison, raises pigs for showing and at various times they get the pigs butchered. The reason for mentioning this is that we had one of their pigs for tea - well, part of it ...
