On November 11, 2014, we will be leaving Holland, MI and going to Bluefields, Nicaragua to stay for 7 weeks with our friends, RCA missionaries Adrian and Bernardeth Kelly-Bobb. Adrian is a pastor and Bernardeth is a medical doctor. We will be helping in their daily feeding program for 120 children that live in the slums of Bluefields. In a couple of hours we'll be leaving Holland to begin the first leg of our journey. Somehow leaving on September 11 feels appropriate because, as tragic as it was, this day above all others reminds me of the strength and courage of Americans, both now and in those early days of the founding of the original colonies.
