      ... must have been the Red Bull. We even got to drive by Paula Dean's famous Savannah restaurant, Lady & Sons. The most appealing thing about Savannah was their town squares. Originally there were 24 squares within the historic downtown (now only 22) that allowed the residents of the 1700's to mix, mingle and socialize.

      ... arrived when the trees all of sudden became moss-covered or palm trees. It's disturbing and beautiful at the same time. (Mandy's input: All the overgrown and low-hanging trees definitely give off a "Gone With the Wind" vibe - very cool.) The resort and Edisto Beach in general are your typical tourist establishment. Lots of pale white folk looking to unwind.

      ... the water and to start jumping waves. Kody and Noel each had their own assistant for this, but after several jumps of clearing the waves the assistants got tired and managed to let the kids get a mouthful and faceful of salt water. Kody took a couple to his face jumping those 1-2 foot swells before he would throw in the towel on the water, but it only took Noel one mouthful to say let’s go back to the pool.       ... Lyn not to go back. He compromised by seeing the woman in check in who had recommended us, and made an official complaint. One phone call later and it was all sorted; we could go and pick our $100 up, without visiting the resort. Lyn 1, Mr T 0! So, all’s well that ends well, we sat and listened to a total jerk for 1.5 hours, and got a free lunch and $50 change out of it. Would we do it again……no bloody way; I couldn’t stand the stress!       ... fashioned candy you buy by-the-pound. Poor Jeff never did find a place to park, so after circling for around 45 minutes, we finally just made it out front to let him pick us up.
